Life & Hobbies

Dr. Olinger served his country as a dentist in the United States Army and was stationed at Fort Riley in Kansas and Fort Campbell in Kentucky. He enjoys running, woodworking, and spending time with his wife, Catherine, and their son.

Dr. Behrendt is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Iowa Dental Association, and the Black & Gold Study Club.

Life & Hobbies

Dr. Behrendt was born and raised in Davenport, Iowa, and attended the University of Iowa for undergraduate schooling. He then moved back home to the Quad Cities and worked at the Rock Island Arsenal for a year before starting dental school back at the University of Iowa. 

Dr. Behrendt has 4 brothers (he’s the lucky middle child in the order). All 5 of the Behrendt boys earned engineering degrees from the University of Iowa. Everyone in Dr. Behrendt’s family, including his parents, have moved to Florida or Texas over the years so he’s the only member of his family still living in Iowa.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Behrandt is an avid Iowa Hawkeyes fan, and enjoys sports such as basketball, football, and wrestling. He also enjoys watching the New York Yankees. On weekends, you can likely find him out and about socializing or at home watching TV shows and movies.

Life & Hobbies

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Al-Aani is passionate about spending time with his family, painting, woodworking, and traveling. These hobbies provide Dr. Al-Aani with a creative outlet and a way to explore and appreciate the world.
